Happy Father's Day!

June 17th is when Father's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. Last month, we celebrated Mother's Day with a series of movies about mothers. Now, we want to share some movies on Viki that will help you celebrate how fathers care for their children and families!

Fly, Daddy, Fly (플라이대디) is a popular Korean film starring Lee Jun Ki and Lee Moon Shik. In this movie, Lee Moon Shik plays a quiet father who wants to learn how to fight in order to defend his daughter. Lee Jun Ki plays the tough, street smart high schooler who agrees to teach the father how to box. If you love an underdog story, or you enjoyed these two actors performing together in the historical drama, Iljimae, this movie is for you!

Red Alert: The War Within is an award-winning Indian film based on the true story Narasimha, a poor father and cook who is forced to join a group of rebels in battle against the local police. Through all kinds of traumatic events, Narasimha fights to return home to his family. This film was awarded the Director's Vision Award at the 2009 Stuttgart Film Festival.

Jungle Emperor Leo is a classic Japanese animated film, based on Osamu Tezuka's epic manga, Kimba the White Lion. Leo is the king of the jungle, and a dedicated father to his two cubs, Lune and Lukio. When humans invade the jungle, destroying the forest and hunting animals, Leo must protect not only his family, but the entire animal kingdom from harm.
